The Veggie Vessel
Ingredients:
4 Carrots
1 Red Pepper
2 handfuls of spinach, watercress and rocket mixed leaves
2 inch slice of ginger root
2 inch Broccoli stalk
1 orange
1/2 lemon
1 apple
Method
1. Pack the leaves tightly between the apple and orange and juice.
2. Then juice the remainder of the ingredients.
This juice is packed full of vegetables and in contrast to the juices at the beginning of the week is more vegetable than fruit juice. As discussed in yesterdays post there are less natural sugars in vegetable juices meaning they are packed full of goodness but not high in sugars. This juice has an 'earthier' taste than the previous juices but the zing of the lemon and spice of the ginger combine with the other ingredients to make a really tasty juice!
